This is either "Legend of the Sacred Blacksmith" or just "The Sacred Blacksmith". You can probably tell, because I don't even care what the title is, that I didn't like this series.

Sacred Blacksmith, is 11 or 12 episodes long, either way, don't watch it...

You may think it's about some awesome blacksmith who makes legendary weapons and goes on quests to find people powerful enough to use them... but that isn't the case. I'm going to spoil the story here, so don't blame me if you read it... you've been warned. Not like there was any story any way.

Luke is the son of a master blacksmith, well, he was, because his father died somehow. He lives with some little elf girl named Lisa. Basically he is very composed all the time, and acts cool, but this doesn't stop you from noticing he's the laziest person ever, and almost never forges anything.

The main character is Cecily, she's some cute young woman who thinks she's a knight. She's in a long line of knights, inherited her father's sword, but she's a wimpy little girl and can't do anything.

Essentially Luke saves her life like 3 times or something because he has the only katana in the world or something... and it can cut stuff, where her normal sword is just broken all the time. Anyway, she bothers him to maker her a sword every day, and he won't because he's a lazy bastard. I think she even offers him "her body", to which he kind of said "wtf is wrong with you". She's desperate.... Anyway, they encounter a few "Demon Blades" which are these magic swords who can transform into humanoids, and have special abilities. Oh, and in case you're wondering, I use the word "encounter" lightly, as they don't ever actually go anywhere to "come across" anything. The entire series happens between Cecily's home town and Luke's shop, which is a short walk away.

So, Cecily ends up using one of the magic demon swords to chase some servant of the bad guy out of town. The end.

Yes, the end. Seriously.

The series is filled with little girls looking for Demon Blades, and living with Cecily, being envious of Cecily for having a mom who can knit. Peeling potatoes, and other cutsey things that don't really belong in the kind of series I thought this was going to be.

The entire time Luke is talking about making a blade to slay Valbanil (the monster who killed his girlfriend, and "made" Lucy, his cutsey Elf servant girl). But then he basically doesn't, and the series ends. WTF.

The final episode was the only one with an actual semi-decent battle in it. I though it would be good starting there, but instead it was the end.

2/10
