Plot Summery:
"The series is set after Japan's conquest by the Holy Britannian Empire on August 10, 2010, a.t.b. with their powerful new robot weapons, the Knightmare Frames, stripping Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renaming the country Area 11. The titular Lelouch is a Britannian prince who was disowned by his father, Emperor Charles Zi Britannia, after his mother was murdered, and has vowed to kill his father, the Emperor, and destroy Britannia. He gains an ability through the mysterious power of the Geass, becoming the leader of the resistance movement to fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister Nunnally can live happily."(from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_Geass#Plot)
My thoughts on the series: This is a series following a young prince Lelouch as he seeks revenge against his father. This series took the main characters personality the route of tactician. He constantly manipulates all the people around him to do his dirty work. To top it off he gets the power that allows him to one time only order someone to do something, and they have to listen to him no matter what his order is. Its interesting as you follow the heroes genius yet often questionable actions. The whole time you want to cheer for him but sometimes he just does some particularly "evil" things. It makes the character seem far more real instead of the typical unyielding hero of justice figure. The fights in the series are entertaining and exciting. All in all this series manages to mix in a school atmosphere mixed with war and giant robots. You really cant go wrong with it.
Id give it a 9/10.
