Just opening up this thread as our first comments thread for Tavern Tales. Story written by our very own Garla. He'll be working closely with me on future Tales to help develop the FMS characters outside of just the comics. The word "swoon" is weird.
It has two possible meanings:
"Become overwhelmed by ecstatic joy"
or
"To faint"
Like seriously, it either means to get really excited or to faint, we really have the same word for that. I looked it up to verify.
I had only really heard of the first definition before, and thought that having the two girls faint at the appropriate times didn't really make sense. But yeah, it can also mean that they went insane.
Go figure.
See in England, I've heard of the word 'Swoon' as to fall for a guy. Either to faint because he is so god damn awesome, or to go rosy cheeked and moist. It's more of an 'old English' style word though. Not used too often in modern context.
