As anyone who is awesome will tell you, Tales of Phantasia for the SNES was the most awesome RPG of it's time, and all time for that matter. It was the fist that launched a thousand faces with it's innovative battle mode. It's main character was awesome. Cless could use any weapon he wanted. From daggers to battle axes, as long as it was a bladed weapon, he was holding it and mashing your face in with it.
Anyway, awesomeness aside, I've started to re-play it for the Playstation. Yes, a short while after it came out on SNES it came out for the PSX, with the voice acting redone of course. They've improved the visuals, adding 3D wherever necessary. Even Sylph looks awesome.
"Is it good so far?" you may ask. The answer is yes, it is awesome and I love it. Best RPG ever.
Some people are impressed by Star Ocean's traditional level cap at 256. Tales of Phantasia for the PSX is set at 999. Damn straight. I don't think I'm getting anywhere near that beast of a number.
That's all I feel like saying for now.
