I actually thought the purpose of this Tavern was for old friends to get together, bs, and have fun here.
After all thats what the statement to guest says.
Today the tribe FEAR is no more but this tavern is dedicated to the spirit of FEAR and what it represented: Drinking, sex, good entertainment and a shitload of gay jokes or any other comical comments directed at your insecurities. At the end of the day though everyone respects each other and we're all just here to have fun.
No Senator my intention is not to memoralize FEAR, looks to me like thats part of what the purpose of this Tavern was.
Come up with my own ideas, like the following MSJ posted? Well guess what, not his idea. Nor do I see any credit given here to the person who originally wrote this. Just some plagurisim.
FEAR has strict standards for new members. Do not ask for an invitation if you:
- Are not a dominant person in your own home. This means that you must have more authority then your "other half", or close to it.
- Only go for easy chicks. We want fighters, not passive nancy boys who are afraid to lose a few ounces of confidence.
- Do not have a solid grasp of the English language, including the use of proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. In this tavern we don't say plz, u, 2, or r when we mean please, you, to and are. Leave that silly crap in your AOL chat room.
- Do not know how to use BB-codes.
- Are under the influence of another tavern.
- Are stupid.
- Are under the age of 16.
- Have a sexy sister but won't show us dirty pictures of her. We promise they won't appear on more than four (4) random web sites.
- Don't have a sense of humor. We use vulgar language, we bait and harass each other, and we will likely imply that you're ugly and you love big, hairy men. But it's all in good fun and we truly respect each other. Leave your insecurities with your mom, because we're not going to hug you and tell you that you're our favorite little boy. We're going to ridicule you and hope that you do it right back.
- Complain.
- Whine.
- Cry.
- Piss and moan.
- Pop the collar on your pink polo shirt. Seriously, you are not cool. In fact, you are decidedly uncool.
- Cannot take the small amount of time it takes to find the origin of our tavern's name and crest, and to tell us what you've found in your initial forum posting. Even if you're wrong, it'll make a difference.
I hate to say this, but this place is getting to me. I think I'm getting the fear.
So I really see a lack of originality and creativity here, just some childish, stupid ideas on "spreading the fear". Well guess what, spreading the fear died right with FEAR did it not?
And does this idea not in itself memoralize FEAR, something that Senator disdainfully accused me of trying to do?
So Senator how about if you and MSJ follow your own advise and come up with your own ideas that don't memoralize FEAR since that is such a no no according to you. Maybe even a new expression besides "spread the fear" since according to you "its time to move on".
Well first off MSJ speak for yourself. Just because you "become more distant from TW does not mean everyone does. Several still play in fact.
Mikey123, Jammer, Jason Deathbringer, myself, and oh yeah, guess what, so does Ammyth the creator of FEAR.
But there seems to be a problem here in the Tavern for anyone who does speak for themselves or disagree with the ideas of a few.
As far as thoughs of you who disagree with my opinion, fine disagree. But speak for yourself, not this "everyone, no one" crap unless you have a mouse in your pocket who has given you its proxy to vote.
I am just as much an ex FEAR member as any of you are and unless I am mistaken thats what this Tavern was created for...ex FEAR members.
Or was it just created so that MSJ could have the little Acadamy tribe he never could have before and he really thinks your all his "bitchs".
