I just made a really horrible bet - that the Cardinals would win their current MLB series. Perhaps this was too overconfident considering the stakes are miserably high but I wanted to strike FEAR into the heart of my naysaying adversary.

How is any of this stuff even remotely entertaining? At least in soccer every time someone kicks the ball, 400 fans somehow disembowel each other. At a baseball game you wait like 3 hours for some guy to finally hit a ball far enough to run around in a circle, and when it's all over, instead of disemboweling, you get some MC saying "well that puts an end to the stalemate, the Conestoga Rumblejackets take it home 1-0 over the Northumbrian Fillibusters in the 58th inning via sudden death". Is it just me, or is everyone named Miguel? In the game I saw, there were 12 Miguels, on each team.
They lost. I'm screwed unless they win 3 in a row.

Rojerton, your right. Baseball sucks. I think it's the most boring sport ever. The only two sports I care about are hockey and football. Which my teams both won last season. Just have to throw that little part in there.
