I was really stuck between the 2nd and third option but eventually decided with the second. Sometimes it is necessary to lie for the persons sake or even your own. I generally have no issue with it.

If someone asks "I made this myself, does it look good", chances are I'm going to say yes no matter what.
I lie quite often. Generally it isn't a bold-faced lie but rather a slight deception or misdirection which is, in fact, still a lie.
I consider it an art form. I am able to whip up lies brilliant enough to fool anyone.
It's a useful skill being able to bullshit an excuse/story to get you out of a sticky situation.

Just like when you fooled almost everyone with that picture LOL.
I called my wife fat when she was pregnant and that fat chicks turn me off. I don't mess around with lies and pretty much tell it as it is. I will avoid saying something insulting to someone UNLESS they ask me for a straight answer.
You may look like a jerk at first but in the end, if you're always telling the truth, people will appreciate your compliments way more when you give them some.
