Well thought i would post this as... well its something to do.

I would like your help in looking for a laptop, you guys seem to know something about computers and shizz.

Am looking for a laptop but don't really know what to get, its for my "studies" Mass gaming, online ability and shizz. I would enjoy a good battery time. Money is not really a problem, but keep it within reason.

Any help would be appreciated.
Macbook pro is an excellent machine. Get yourself 5 years warranty and you will seriously never look back nor regret you decision. I did this a year ago and i simply could not be happier with the reliable manner with which it has performed.
Changed your thread title...hopefully that will attract Lawagetas attention. He's a computer whore.

I bought an HP many years ago and the battery life sucked big time. Plus the thing was heavy and had a loose power cord. No idea if they make them better now.

You forgot to take into account that he wants to do gaming. Macs of any kind are out at this point.
I hate how i go onto sites, e.g. alienware, look around find something i like then boom turns out you have to pay for heaps of upgrades if you want it to be good, started at $999, went over $5000 to see the price lol then find they don't deliver to the uk!
if you're really into gaming, your best bet is to go with a desktop.
hmmm perhaps i should just shimmy it down and get into one with long battery and microsoft works

Or you know, buy a granite slab instead. That way it's even more reliable and will get even less virus' but will still offer the same functionality.
How dare you mention a macbook....you make me sick sportzman
I just accidentally opened up the page program, wow MSJ, didn't know it took that many lines for 1 page.

And zara, I just bought one at Best Buy for 800$, it's got 500 GB hard drive, 4 GB memory, wireless, 4 hr battery, and 2 intel core processors.

It's worked well for me, internet works, gaming is good(I play Medieval Total War 2 which pushes a computer to actually get it to run smoothly, and it works fine.)
