Just in case people can't view the forum correctly, and can still actually read this, its MSJ's fault for trying to mess with the forum again. If he crashes it again, I told him what he should do first, but his over confidence may burn this place down again.

I got things under control...and there is now a new update on the forums, but it's only viewable to guests and lurkers.
while your in there fixing crap can u fix the issue where i log in and the unread brown circle is showing even though there are no new posts? it drives me nuts

I'm going to guess that's a cookie problem on your end, not a forum problem itself.
Do ALL the threads show up as unread?

That has happened to me. It was because there was a topic with new posts that I had not checked, one of the story threads, so it always told me there was new posts in the Lounge. Just check to see if you have any topics with unread posts, that might be the cause.
no - ive done that
sometimes ill go to the tavern and pick the forum option and see the lounge is brown indicating new posts so i click on it and there are no new posts anywhere. all of the threads are white and read. i dont get it

You may be getting a "new" post icon, if someone edited a post. That's not supposed to happen, but is my guess. I get a "new" post icon every time MSJ moves the last poll into the dumpter. Basically something is indicating to you that something has changed, its just not being specific enough to tell you where that something is.
