I'm looking for some new music and was hoping you guys could help. I pretty much like everything except for hip-hop, R&B, rap, or whatever else you want to call it. My favorite is rock but I also like some stranger stuff like folk music. Anyways, I'll list some of my favorite bands so you can see what I like. I'm just looking for something new.

Vampire Weekend is pretty good, but definitely a bit different than what you usually find. They kind of sound like a 50 or 60's band, but then not.
