I post this both as a question and as a review.

Review:

Well this was a fun game to play, basically you have 4 races, federation, Klingon, Romulan and the terrifing borg.

The campaign is ok you play as each race through 5 missions each then get to the omega missions, which i can't remember. But the real action is just in skirmishes.

I don't know who has ever watched Star Trek here but the borg rule, i enjoy a good 4v4 vs the borg and having them walk in assimulate everything then leave.

Graphics are good for the time think i got it 8 years ago, only problem is now i have some minor graphical glitches like a patch of space flickingSad

Question:

Why the fuck did Won.net close down the online games?
EIGHT YEARS AGO?

THAT'S PRACTICALLY COMMODORE 64 ERA
Maybe not that long ago, but its a frekin awesome game!

Hi
Armada was a well-built, graphically impressive real-time strategy game that let you command the famous ships of the Star Trek: The Next Generation television series. The game wasn't overly complicated as real-time strategy games go--the object was to quickly try to gather enough resources to field a large fleet of starships powerful enough to dispose of all the enemy forces. Still, Armada was paced well, had some tactical depth, and was essentially fun to play. Some Star Trek fans felt its fairly simple gameplay didn't do justice to the source material, but most found Armada to be a refreshing change from the typically lackluster Star Trek games that had come before it.
