Just saw this today and thought it looked pretty cool. A remake, or I think really a continuation from the original Tron movie.

Good movie for its time, but entirely dated by today's standards. It was however a landmark movie in terms of advances in computer animation and special effects.

...chase scenes are always so stupid.

The cycles are matched in speed when they are next to each other, but when the yellow one is descending a spiral (not moving forward at all) it still manages to catch up with the blue one.
