That doesn't even make sense. More like too much set up, not enough set.
Either way, the pre-adventure seems to be taking on a style that I don't see translating into the type of story you're planning on the rest of it being. I think you know what I mean. Unless of course he'll be traveling *with* his master, but I don't see that working out positively.
