Ewww, well i played the demo and was not impressed it was completely unplayable to me which i can't completely understand, who else has tried the demo any problems?
What do you mean by unplayable? As in, it wouldn't load (i.e broken) or it was too laggy for you to play smoothly?
It is very laggy, even on the lowest settings which i don't understand i mean i have a good computer imo. Even my friend who has a good computer says its very laggy, and that even people with top notch computers have been complaining.
hmmm did a bit of digging.

http://www.vgrequirements.info/?p=7800 Wrote:Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: Pentium 4 @ 2.4 GHz
Memory: 1 GB
Hard Drive: 15 GB Free
Video Memory: 256 MB (Shader Model 2.0)
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
DirectX: 9.0c
Keyboard & Mouse
DVD Rom Drive

Very low system requirements.

But always take this shit with a grain of salt. Higher resolutions need a better graphics solution, and these requirements are almost always based off using some 15" CRT. They should make it compulsory to have these system requirements use a 19" WS at the bare minimum.

hmmmm this sexy game can fully appreciate quad cores! Damn! My dual core is becoming more and more redundant. But I can't justify to myself to buy a quad core JUST for one game... no matter how sexy that game is.

Unlike those people who spent $8000+ just to be able to play Crysis on max settings on a 24"

Nothing looks to be out of the ordinary, what's your rig like? I haven't downloaded this, but I haven't found much criticism to ETW for laggy game play. It might just be time for an upgrade!

Edit: Yeah, it appears the demo wasn't coded too well, it's not optimised and compatible with everyone's rig. I think they must've F'ked up somewhere. The release will hopefully be much better.
OMG RELEASE IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111oneoneoneone
I have no idea how to check how good it is, it says on the box:

Q6600 intel core 2 quad
3Gb DDR2 memory
Nvidia Geforce 8600GTS

and some other shiz
Whats the exact date of release i reserved it a week or two ago but i dont even know the date Smile
Zar, is that a prebuilt computer?

Because the Q6600 is an overclocking BEAST. To own one is to say you're a hardcore enthusiast.

If it's a prebuilt computer, I strongly recommend not touching it, or opening it up. Don't void the premium warranty on that shit!

Dbow, I'm not sure about where you live, but different countries have different release dates. I think it's the 4th in the US, and 5th in Australia/Oceania/Asia. If you preordered, they usually ring you when it arrives, or a day before it arrives.
Im in the US. Also my computer has a q6600. Which i bought for the purpose of over clocking. But i have not done so yet.. I've put it off for a few months lol. Ive not over clocked before, so I've not had time to put the time in to read up on it.
Our work PCs have Q6600 as well...they're the same price as E8500 but seem more mainstream at the moment

Hope I don't regret my choice Confused
