For those of you who live in a cave, you may not know that E3 is currently happening.

Just thought I'd post a few upcoming games that have sparked my interest

a new super marios bros for the wii (multiplayer)
super mario galaxy 2 which will let you ride yoshi once again!
a new zelda game for DS (which i'm still looking for vids)
a remade Secrets of monkey island special edition!!
an awesome new trailer for old republic which i'm about to watch
lego harry potter and lego rock band...found that kind of interesting
Red steel 2 (kind of hopeful)
Sega vintage collection (including GUNSTAR HEROES!!! awesome game)
A new Ninja Gaiden
a new ratchet and clank
a new metroid prime which is quite anticipated
a sonic racing game that COULD be good
the conduit (highly anticipated)

i am hoping to see some more good stuff come out of this conference.

Hmm, well, I know what I'll be playing.

Project Natal for Xbox

no controller required...I guess you put on some kind of tape on your body and the game recognizes ALL of your body movements including facial expressions. The sensors also comes with voice recognition so you can play trivia game in a room for example...not sure about this, it's a great idea but only if it's properly executed.

We'll have to see what developers do with this new feature.

and I missed final fantasy XIII!? yeah coming out next spring!

Oh ya. Finally a final fantasy where you get to play a main character and not the main characters tag along.

RPGs need to get back on track. Hopefully this new Final Fantasy will pickup where the franchise left off.

Side note: the RPGs on the DS are all classical. Anyone who considers themselves to be RPG buffs and don't have a DS are missing the big picture. Games like the original Legend of Manna, Final Fantasy, and Tactics are still being made.

how can you say anything about final fantasy? The last one you completed was like #4, and I don't even think you've tried any of them after #7

I've tried almost all the Final Fantasies except the last online one and X2.
You forget that I've played 8, 9, and a bit of X. No, I didn't beat any of those, they were too boring.
X was staggeringly uninteresting, and X2 looked slightly gayer than X. Wooo, big loss.

8 and 9 were ok. The first X was pretty good, then there was X2*shiver* what the fuck was with that....
