Ok, as per MSJ's topic, we went to Anime North. It was ok.
I'm a bigger fan of anime than MSJ, but MSJ is a bigger fan of little girls. So it evened out I suppose.
Ok, here's the skinny of a few things:
Cosplay:
The Coolest:
Two guys dressed up as soldiers from Steamboy. For those of you who don't know Seamboy is a steampunk anime movie credited with the largest anime movie budgets of all time. They were incredibly detailed with awesome pilot's goggles and cool steampunk-esque guns. It was epic and looked amazing. Kudos to those guys, whoever they were.

The Hottest:
Hard to say. There were 3 girls with huge racks displaying mega cleavage.
I'll say the hottest cosplay was some asian girl dressed as the infamous chic from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagun. Redhead in a bikini with a huge rifle. She was statistically the hottest.
Not sure which one he means![[Image: 4284_185765445693_566930693_7103014_1173110_n.jpg]](http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs028.snc1/4284_185765445693_566930693_7103014_1173110_n.jpg)

Best Easy-ness to Success Ratio:
Salad Fingers. A friend of MSJ and I wore a Saladfingers hat and shirt.
Oh man, people were trying to get his picture all the freaking time. He was a hero. Another of our friends wore a Captain Hammer shirt, he did similarly well, but I think slightly less so.
Booths:
Ugh, don't bother. Everything is mega over-priced. Like, if you're a collector looking for one specific 100 dollar item, sure go, buy it. If not, don't even bother.
Meeting People?:
Yeah, we didn't. The closest to that was the mega-talky girl in line and the girl with her mom in the Crazy 80's showing. She left when the porn came on.
The Showings:
Ok, there were two gems out of all the boring stuff we sat through.
(I had already seen Gundam, so it doesn't count)
Clannad was hilarious. I hadn't seen it, but it was funny. The guy tells the girl's dad his name, and he's like "Ugh, what a weak puny name. I think I'll call you Ginga! That's way better." Then the guy's wife is all "that's perfect! then his last name can be...". So funny.
The 80's anime was good stuff too. Solid action and hilarity at all times. Some good stuff I need to check out, but notably Del Power (I think).
The Verdict:
Well, will I be going next year? I think I may be sick that day.
