I'm from the US, and I'll actually agree with that statement. Maybe not the specific people in the US you would blame. The rest of the world can blame us too much though, as they ended up copying the US's stupid practices that caused all this mess to start with. If they had not picked up the same practices enacted by the Democrats here in the states, then Europe and most of the rest of the world could be cruising along laughing at us instead of us all sitting in the same boat.

You need to correct that a bit. Blame the Democrat politicians, for forcing the banks to give loans to people who can't pay them back. That's the real root of the problem, but no one in the main stream media (their political party of choice) wants to admit that. Notice on all those networks, you can never really get a clear answer as to how all this started. You just get a generic "its Bush's fault" without any additional substance to back that up.

At this point in time, with all the crazy bull shit going on in politics right now, I really have seriously thought about looking into running for political office. Something on the state level. The only problem is not knowing the right people and what office to even look at, and then figuring out campaign money and that kind of stuff.
