They dont have the point blank shot feat.
Anyway when people are moving very quickly in melee they might actually end up blasting their own jedi.
If an mmo instituted a friendly fire mechanic it would be very quickly abused by assholes and dickweeds shooting their own allies.
Imagine if Shamans(WoW) could blast their own allies off the side of a cliff(They can do this to enemies, for those who do not play WoW). How many would do this? Enough to be significant.
But it should still be like that, cuz its cool and makes the game more interesting instead of just ability spamming.

No, it shouldn't. You'd just get gold bots doing it then sending you messages about buying gold. Or you'd get retarded kids doing it because they think it's cool. Oh wait..
So they should set up a law system within the game. That punishes you for killing teamates or some such.
Or, they can leave it where it is, rather than creating more useless crap, that people wouldn't care about. Plus, if you want a challenge that isn't merely busston bashing, go pvp. You need to be good there.
Yea as a pally i usually just run in spam three or four abilities and then people are dead.
Divine Storm +Art of War Proc/Exorcism +Judgement +Avenging Wrath +Seal of Command+More Art of War Procs+Instant Heals+Pally Bubbling to full health, +Judgements of the Wise= A dead target, a few dead friends around him, and a pally with 90% health and 70% mana.
