I've finally gotten around to finish this series. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it, it seems that they built the series to please everyone possible. They throw in Gundams, swords, samurai reference, knight reference, ships, empires, dragons and to please the woman they make the main character a girl and throw her into a love triangle. Oh and of course the epic music is very good.

They made a movie too but I'm not sure if i'll ever get around to watching it.

I'm not much of a reviewer so consider this more and opinion thread.

I enjoyed that show. Its at least worth a watch.

Btw, the movie is pretty badass. It's more serious, and kinda moody, and ends kinda stupidly. Van is significantly more insane:

In the series Van looked best in the first episode, then goes and loses it for the whole series...stupid.

Yeah, in the movie he's basically a psychopath the entire time.
