I thought I'd give this one a chance even after being unimpressed with the first episode and general description of the series. It just sounded stupid to me, but it was at least decent.
Let me elaborate.
This 13 episode series is about some kid who gets his first part-time job in a restaurant run by "wierdos".
Or so he claims. He claims to be the only normal one, but he's a bit of a wacko too. He's got a "thing" for cutsey stuff and "kids". Not a "thing" in that sense, but well, he just likes cute things (puppies, kittens, dolls) and is very parent-ish to little kids. Apparently he can't stand adolescent kids because they're angsty and stupid and adults because they are irrational. Whatever, he's a wierdo... Anyway...
The people work there are at least kinda weird. There's a girl who always carries a katana for self-defense because she was bullied as a kid, a girl who ran away from home but claims to be an orphan (and lives in the restaurant), a girl who was brainwashed into attacking any nearby male, a guy who can't help but investigate every person he's around and blackmail them into doing his work, etc etc etc.
All things aside, I didn't like any part of this series EXCEPT the interactions between the main character and the girl with androphobia (fear of men). Her father basically told her every day that every man in the world wanted to rape her, and he also weighted everything she owned, so she would get stronger. Basically she punches the main character in the face whenever he is 2' away. This sounds annoying, but it gets hilarious.
The main guy basically decides to teacher her how to be a normal human, so he makes her practice walking with her, and "holding hands". This is probably the funniest thing ever, because instead of actually touching her, he uses a "extendo-claw":

So basically they go on mock dates, and do random things in public, all while using the claw. It's so hilarious to see her holding onto the claw as they walk through the street, or him handing her a valentine's present with the claw, seriously, so freaking hilarious.
Anyway, if it weren't for the claw I would probably give this series a 4/10, but with the claw it's a 6 at least.
If it was a full 26 episodes long I probably would have given it a lot higher, because it seemed like things were just about to get good. Like his messed up family situation started to come more into focus, and the claw kept getting involved in more and more hilarious situations. I was surprised it ended at that point, I guess it's the animator's faults for wasting so many episodes at the beginning on only moderately entertaining stuff.
