China releases their latest weapons out to sea, capitalizing on all the technology they are manufacturing they put together the most powerful and stealthy nuclear submarines the world has ever seen. They get coined the name yellow submarine because they have a large nuclear stamp on their sides, they would only earn that name hundreds of years later by historians. Using these submarines they launch their first strike in what would later be known as World War III, on the united states mainland. The submarines new stealth technology allowed them to catch the U.S. by surprise and basically most of North America is wiped out. The united states managed to respond just in time before they were wiped off the map. What is left of Canada and the U.S. (Mexico doesn't change with the added nuclear destruction, lol for racism) turns into a "Fallout" esc situation. Those living are plagued with mutations and the horrors humanity can cause while in anarchy.

Actually I kept thinking of the fallout games and the brain bots that roam around, particularly in fallout 3. I kept imagining him as one of those and then i worked my way to that goal, also the purpose is to corrupt the wish not nessasarly destroy or fuck up the user. The point is warp the wish to something that it was not implied as being.
