So, I was at my cousin's wedding this past weekend and afterwards we went out to the bar. A guy ordered shots of tequila for me and him and he asked the bartender for Patron but the bartender said she had something just as good for cheaper. It was really good tequila but we never got the name of the stuff. I know that's a really vague description and could be hundreds of things but was wondering if anyone had any idea what it might be?
There are 2 types of tequila, one being 'sweeter' than the other. Try and describe the colour, texture and flavour and I'll try to name it for you
Colour was pretty clear, not the golden brown stuff. It wasn't totally clear like vodka, but almost. As for texture and taste I don't remember too well. It was really smooth, not bitter at all and went down real easy. There was definitely no need for the lime or anything afterwards as you weren't rushing to rid yourself of the taste.
So, nothing of note to the flavour then.. No standing out flavours, that come to memory?
Nothing really. I know, crappy description. Was just hoping someone might have known of a tequila similar to Patron but that isn't as top shelf.
