Okay, yes that would be true. The thing that always gets me is having enough of certain pieces to build anything like these monster constructions.

You do it by ordering special packs of them not by sets. You used to be able to find them in the back of the little catalogs that came with every LEGO set, I don't know if you still can. But you ordered pieces based on a set number and you could order just a whole bunch of black pieces, or yellow, or different hairs and hats. I remember I ordered one that had a whole bunch of little computers and coins and other items in it.
