The team approached the ship, Magnus Mc'Wallace the team’s head of security and leader on this mission suggested the top level of the ship as their access point. He hoped to gain access to the bridge and engine room before collecting the crystal. His team comprised of: Parxnor the communications expert, Jason Dax the teams medic, Rojertr0n – a Sentient robot that they had picked up during a previous campaign now an integrated part of the team, Garrett Xorphen the mechanic for Rojertr0n, and finally but certainly not least Paul Smith the man whose knowledge of species could rival that of a battleships entire library, he had a quest to catch them all!

The ship docks and the crew evacuate. They appear in a room just big enough for their shuttle, The large metal doors have closed behind you. The room is relatively well lit, and a speaker alerts “Please remain in the dock for a representative to greet you”. Apart from the one sentence that is repeated every minute you hear nothing. Mc’Wallace decides the team should just move out and looks to the doors.

They have no security on them so feel free to go through. Begin...
"Permission to begin laser barrage?"
*readies armament, mostly jokingly*
I recheck all my medicines and supplies, waiting for the go ahead.
I strike a few keys into rojert0n to remove his odd initiation. "Hmm not sure why that happened. Should be good to go now."

I grab some equipment and strap everything I need onto my back and on my belt. I holster a gun to my leg and wait for the others. "Ready when you guys are"
I check the dock for any strange or abnormal signs, then make sure my teams ready. After they are ready I get them moving toward the doors, I have the robot go through first.
I take up position at the back of the group. No need to have any weapons out right now so I go unarmed.
I will try and patch into the ship's computer network.
My sensors detect a nearby water source. Sodium-based beings are at risk.
Paul Smith double-checks the party---no sodium based lifeforms in this bunch, "We should be OK with the risk of water, unless you rust easily..."
"I think caution should be our standard tactic since we don't have any data on the situation yet. I will keep my stun gun at the ready until we make contact with any stationed personnel."
I'd like to check my stun gun and my tranquilizing beam to ensure that they are both in working order and while non-lethal are excellent when gathering specimens or removing potentially violent opponents.
I rust very UN-easily... By the time *water* could rust *me*, your flesh will have fallen from your bones in a gummy mess.

....that's just classic human ignorance.

...racist
