Update 5:

The team were relaxed. They had been able to make sure the bridge was secure. Parxnor was busy looking through the security files when the lights that he had just put on went out again. Rojertr0ns light began to reemit. The team were tense and looked around. Suddenly they started to hear little noises a scratch here a scratch there. Magnus told his team to prepare for the unexpected. They braced but nothing happened.
All fell silent again. The team looked at each other. Paul turns around with a smile on his face, “Lucky that is ove...” before a scream is heard. Paul has disappeared. A hole can be found where his body should be, it contains blood trails down a shaft into the darkness. You aren’t as safe as you thought you were apparently.

It appears there is some kind of "zombie" infestation on this ship but also something else, according to the log files. What that is wasn't discovered before the logs stopped. It does seem to hate light, so everyone turn on you flashlights. The remain crew went to protect the crystal in the lab. They took some kind of robots with them, so I don't know what we can expect there.

I say robots first down this hole. We better move fast if we want to try and find Paul alive.

I pull out my pistol, leaving my assault rifle/grenade launcher slung over my shoulder. I keep my weapon pointed at the hole but keep myself behind Rojertron, using his titanium chasis for cover.

Questions:
Do I have a light of any type? Flashlight? Gun mounted light?
Is my bubble shield reusable?

Yes you do have a gunmounted light. Yes but if it takes damage it may need to recharge

In that case...

"Commander Magnus, as Chief Medical Officer of this mission, I suggest we throw down my personal shield and then myself and another crew member descend in to the hole for Paul. They can provide cover while I attend to Paul, if he is still alive."

I click on my pistol's light.

Magnus curses.

First he checks his handheld device for life signs of the team, checking if Paul is still alive.

Zara if you can get back to me on those results ill layout the plan depending on those results.

Hmm i can't pm you. Well anyway you recieve a very weak life sign in the cargo bay. Most likly Paul. It is very flicky though.

OK we have any rope or any other mundane gear on us? Or do we only have what you listed for us? Also does the hole look like it goes right down into the cargo bay or is it above the dock down there.

I adjust the lights on Rojert0n to cover a 280 degree radius around us.

The hole will go where it goes, the body is located in the cargo bay though. It may have been dragged or moved. No rope.
